The importance of media

T-Squared MedEA knows the importance of media. It provides the truth along with analysis. People can change their perspectives and opinions. We bring up this stance in order to make people aware of why they should have concern over our current POTUS. This is an issue for Americans, not just journalists.

Although some may disagree that it is foolish to worry, T-Squared MedEA has probable cause that this is alarming. Politicians have the habit of withholding information to prevent lies without releasing the truth.

Last night, MSNBC released POTUS and the First Lady's tax returns from 2005. This was not only verified by the White House but criticized as well.

They payed roughly $38 million in taxes on $150 million in income. $5.3 million was payed under regular federal income tax guidelines but the remaining $31 million was given to the "Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT)."

Under the AMT, the POTUS had to give 25% of his income. However, this kind of tax is meant to lower the standard income tax for the poor. Instead, he's taken advantage of the AMT in order to lower his own tax payments. This stands out as a conflict of interest as he vows to get rid of AMT to lower his own tax rates even more. This means that he will only give 4% of his income in taxes.

This release of information is vital because it gives Americans evidence to back up their concerns over his taxes. Although the White House called MSNBC "dishonest," they verified that the documents are true.
